Tempting Tuesday: Hot Dining in Cool (Cold!) NYC

January 25, 2011

NEW YORK, USA – It’s been a bitterly cold winter. No doubt about it. For those of us on the East Coast, the past few days have been especially brutal, with temperatures in New York yesterday dropping into single digits. (And wind chills in the negative double digits? Ouch!) Needless to say, this season’s long-awaited NYC Restaurant Week is just in time; there’s nothing like hot dining deals to warm you up from the chill. On Mondays through Fridays from Jan. 24 to Feb. 6, some of Manhattan’s grandest restaurants are offering $24.07 lunches and $35 three-course dinners (drinks, gratuities, and taxes not included).

Here are Purple’s Top 25 Picks (in alphabetical order) suited for any hangout or hankering. (And since we’ve visited each one of these ourselves, we know they’re good!)
